Summary: The Lord used Zechariah to encourage the people to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem after their captivity in Babylon. But God’s message through Zechariah was also a message of great hope. He called the people to obedience and repentance. He reminded them of God’s blessings and the future joy that would one day come through the promised Messiah. This book focuses on the coming of Jesus Christ and gives instruction to God’s people about living lives that honor Him through repentance, faith, hope, and obedience.

About God: God is faithful, and His plan of redemption will be fulfilled through the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
