In the Bible God tells us that He created the heavens and the earth, and He created animals according to their kinds (Genesis 1:24–25). We still see these kinds today!

What does cat “kind” mean?

We know that there is a big variety of cats. They probably all came from the original kind of cat that God created on Day 6.

Each kind of animal makes more animals like itself. Cats, such as the tiger, never give birth to dogs.
