The Bible says God created animals—even big cats—to eat plants, NOT meat.
See Genesis 1:30. That’s in the first chapter of the first book of your Bible.
After Adam sinned, animals began killing and eating other animals. After Noah’s Flood (about 4,350 years ago), God gave people permission to eat meat, too! See Genesis 9:3.
One day all the animals will again eat only plants. See Isaiah 11:7 and Isaiah 65:25.
