Summary: The account of Job proclaims the sovereignty of God over all things. Job was a righteous man who loved and served God. He was greatly blessed with a large family and many possessions. But God allowed Satan to test Job by completely destroying his life and his health. God silenced Job with His power and might when Job questioned Him. In the end, Job’s faith and trust in God remained firm, and God restored Job’s health, riches, and life.

About God: God is sovereign and trustworthy. His plans are perfect. We must trust Him even when we do not understand why things are happening.
