Summary: The book of Ezra tells about God’s faithfulness to His people. Because of their sin, God had allowed them to be taken away by the Babylonians. This book tells how God moved in the hearts of kings to allow His people to return to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity. God used two leaders, Ezra and Zerubbabel, to bring the people back home, to restore proper worship to God, and to rebuild the Temple.

About God: God is faithful to His promises. He is sovereign over all things and is always working to accomplish His good and perfect plan.
