Egg Hunt
Answers Bible Curriculum Easter Lesson
Materials
- Plastic Easter eggs
- Strips of paper
- Memory Verse Poster
- Optional: small stickers or treats
Instructions
Before class, write the memory verse on strips of paper with one or two words on each strip. Put one strip inside each egg. Add a small sticker or treat in each egg, if desired. Hide all the eggs around the room.
Review the memory verse using the poster. When you say “Go,” have the students search for the eggs and bring them back to their table. They will open the eggs and work together to put the verse in the proper order. Check the order by saying the verse together.
For a larger class, prepare more than one set of eggs (sorted by colors for different teams). Students can work in teams to collect and construct the verse.
Memory Verse
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24
