Cougar

Design

Even though the cougar is found in few places in North America, it plays an important role in its habitat by keeping other animals in check. This carnivorous behavior was not part of its original created kind but came after the Fall. The cougar will sometimes hide its large prey and return to eat it later. This allows it to thrive even when the food supply is low.
Features
- The cougar is yellowish-brown in color with a whitish chest.
- It has large golden eyes, a pink nose, and a long, cylindrical tail.
Fun Facts
- The puma and the mountain lion are the same thing as a cougar. Many also call the cougar a panther, but some disagree with this naming of the species.
- A cougar cannot roar; it has a unique scream.
- It can jump up to 18 ft (5.5 m) from a sitting position.
- A cougar needs a hunting territory of up to 300 square miles (780 km2).
