Big Brains for a Big Job
Jun 24, 2013
God put a brain in your head that beats any technology we humans can build!

God made your brain for a purpose. Your neurons help you think, paint pictures, and solve math problems. But God’s got a bigger plan than that. When Jesus went back to heaven, He left His followers with a job to do. He said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20). If you’re His follower, that’s your job too.
Your brain is a tool for sharing the bad news about sin in our world and the good news of salvation. When you put your mind to it, God can use your gray matter to share the truth of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.
God has made all people in His image. He wants each person to praise Him with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to do good deeds to serve others (Luke 10:25–28). But not one loves God with all of his mind, and people disobey God with their minds (Colossians 1:21). That’s why Jesus came to earth to pay the punishment for people’s disobedience and the offer them eternal life and a renewed mind that loves Jesus.
