In the Zagros Mountains in Iraq and Franchthi Cave in Greece, scientists found evidence that Neanderthals may have eaten more than just wild game. The findings suggest complex cooking methods and a variety of ingredients—like plants and nuts—probably used to make meals more enjoyable.

While this may be a surprise to researchers, we know that humans have always been humans, with a God-given taste for the variety of foods and preparation methods he created for us to enjoy.
